Winter Boots?

For those of you that live in similar climates, do you have an opinion on any of these brands; Sorel, The North Face or Rocketdog?

I am between these three brands for winter boots. I am going to drop a considerable amount of money on them and I want them to last. I need waterproof, warmth and tread. And wouldn’t mind if they weren’t hideous either. Feedback please.
